Blood Python   Fat little guys. These get HUGE but they don't get too long, a 7' blood would be a large female red. Also have the smaller subspecies the borneo python and blacks.  As babies, they need to feel secure so bedding to hide under is important. Woma Python These are extremely hardy and GORGEOUS. I have loved my time working with them. They are like most dry pythons. Warm end about 90 cool end what ever it is. Only get about 6' or so so they are very manageable for most now that the price has come down.

Although these are non-venomous snakes, they are nonetheless dangerous. You need to take a lot of care and precautions when bringing home pythons as pets. Let us learn a bit more in detail about pythons as pets. Pythons are non venomous snakes that belong to the family Boidae and sub-family Booidea. There are about 25 known species of pythons and all of them are constrictors. The female python lays about 15 to 100 eggs. Pythons have a docile temperament and thus have become popular as pets. The most commonly kept pythons as pets are blood pythons, Burmese pythons, reticulated pythons, carpet pythons, etc. The ball pythons are the easiest snakes to keep as pets. The following information on pythons as pets will help you learn more in detail about handing various python types as pets.
